Nellis AFB Oil-Water Separator Decommissioning (OWS)

The Decommission Oil Water Separators Project at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, was successfully completed by WCG. The team safely removed and decommissioned nineteen outdated oil-water separators, ensuring full compliance with EPA, federal, state, and county regulations (UPC 722.0). Design, demolition, and site restoration were executed to eliminate contamination risks and enhance long-term environmental safety across the base.

Keesler Medical Center CEP Maintenance Access and VAV Replacement

WCG is executing the HHW VAV Hose Replacement and Central Energy Plant (CEP) Access Project at Keesler Medical Center, Mississippi under our strategic ANC 8(a) partner. The project includes replacing over 540 heating-water flex hoses with copper piping and installing new roof access systems fixed ladders, platforms, and fall protection, to ensure safety and system reliability. Work is carefully phased around patient care operations, with completion scheduled for February 2026.

The Replace Chilled Water Feed Line & Chase Project at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, involved the full replacement of dual chilled and heating water lines serving Base Chapel B5701. WCG managed phased demolition, piping installation, concrete restoration, and finish repairs to maintain building operations. The completed system now provides enhanced energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with all mechanical codes.

The Repair Building 8 Project at Fort Bliss, Texas, is a full-scale renovation and modernization effort by WCG for our ANC 8(a) teaming partner (Prime), scheduled for completion in Q3 2026. The project includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection upgrades to meet UFC, NFPA, and ADA standards. Work encompasses interior demolition, asbestos abatement, HVAC replacement, roofing, and life safety improvements, delivering a fully modernized, mission-ready facility.

WCG is the lead subcontractor for this design build renovation under our ANC 8(a) teaming partner (Prime). The work includes expanding and modernizing Entry #3 with a new vestibule, automatic sliding doors, storefront glazing, upgraded lighting, HVAC, and security systems. Scheduled for completion in 2025, the project enhances accessibility, safety, and energy performance in compliance with UFC and ADA standards.

The Paint Emergency Department Project at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, involves surface preparation and repainting to refresh and protect the active medical environment. WCG is repairing walls and ceilings, applying low-VOC coatings, and adhering to infection control protocols. All work is performed in compliance with Air Force and healthcare facility standards, ensuring zero disruption to ongoing hospital operations.

The Med M FY25 FSB Projects at Davis-Monthan AFB encompass multi-building facility repairs and interior upgrades across six medical and support facilities. WCG is replacing ceilings, flooring, restrooms, lighting, and doors, while repainting and modernizing all interior spaces. The project enhances sustainability, functionality, and compliance with Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards, ensuring continued mission readiness.

Hurricane Helene
Waterway Debris Removal

Watauga, Alexander & Ashe Counties, NC

Under the USACE Wilmington District emergency response contract for our ANC 8(a) strategic partner, WCG executed large-scale debris removal operations across Watauga, Alexander, and Ashe Counties, NC. Scope included clearing and disposing of over six (6) million cubic yards of vegetative and construction debris from streams, floodplains, and tributaries impacted by the storm. Mobilized in February 2025, WCG performed stream clearing, sediment removal, debris haul-off, and site stabilization under strict environmental and safety protocols. This effort restored natural water flow, enhanced watershed resilience, and accelerated regional recovery following Hurricane Helene.

St. Tammany Bayou
Cleanup

WCG, as lead subcontractor to our large business global environmental and emergency services partner, executed a long-term waterway debris removal initiative in St. Tammany Parish, including Mandeville and tributaries feeding Bayou Castine, Tchefuncte, and Abita waterway systems. Launched in 2022 under a parish-NRCS program, the project spans ninety-seven miles of waterways and removal of approximately 3,400 storm-downed trees. WCG performed in-channel snagging, selective debris removal, site staging, compliant disposal, and bank stabilization while preserving habitat and restoring hydraulic flow. Efforts also include removal of abandoned vessels to safeguard navigation and enhance waterway resilience.

Environmental Watershed Project

WCG is the Prime contractor for the Emergency Watershed Protection – Stream Clearing and Snagging Project for the City of Valdosta, Georgia, to restore natural water flow and mitigate flood risks along Sugar Creek, Two-mile Branch, and Three-mile Branch. The work includes tree and debris removal, streambank restoration, and sediment control measures to protect the local ecosystem. Scheduled for completion in January 2026, this unit-price project reinforces environmental resilience and watershed sustainability.

The project improves stormwater flow and mitigates flood risks through targeted clearing of streams, floodplains, and buffer zones. Scope includes removal of large, woody debris and obstructions using advanced methods, with all materials processed and disposed of per environmental standards. This effort reinforces Augusta’s commitment to flood mitigation and environmental resilience, leveraging WCG’s proven expertise in safe, efficient operations.
